Our Waterproof Collection (316L Stainless Steel)

Our waterproof jewellery is crafted from premium 316L stainless steel and plated with 18k gold using an advanced technique called PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition).

This modern plating method creates a coating that is significantly more durable than traditional gold plating, while also being environmentally friendly. The result is jewellery that is highly resistant to tarnishing, fading, water exposure, sweat, and everyday wear.

Our 316L stainless steel pieces are designed to be worn in the shower, at the gym, at the beach, and by the pool without losing their colour or shine.

925 Sterling Silver Collection

We also offer selected pieces in 925 Sterling Silver.

Sterling silver is a precious metal that requires a little more care than stainless steel. Over time, exposure to water, moisture, perfumes, lotions, cleaning products, and natural body oils may cause tarnishing.

To keep your sterling silver jewellery looking its best, we recommend removing it before swimming, showering, exercising, and applying beauty products.

Any natural tarnishing can usually be removed with a silver polishing cloth.

Warranty

All Mays Jewellery products are covered by a 6-month manufacturing warranty from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults in materials or workmanship under normal use.

The warranty does not cover:

  • General wear and tear
  • Scratches, dents, bent rings, or accidental damage
  • Broken chains, clasps, or components caused by force or misuse
  • Lost or stolen items
  • Tarnishing of 925 Sterling Silver caused by normal wear or improper care
  • Damage caused by chemicals, perfumes, lotions, or cleaning products
  • Repairs, alterations, or modifications carried out by third parties

If you believe your item has developed a manufacturing fault within the warranty period, please contact us at contact@maysstore.com with your order number and photographs of the item.

Our team will review your claim and advise on the next steps.

Product Care

To maximise the lifespan of your jewellery:

  • Store your jewellery in a dry place when not in use.
  • Avoid contact with harsh chemicals and cleaning products.
  • Clean regularly using a soft jewellery cloth.
  • Follow the care instructions specific to your jewellery's material.
